At Meon Springs, we’ve brought together a diverse and exceptional team to deliver fully rounded, immersive experiential training that goes far beyond the classroom.
The team brings alive different aspects of learning and development. They are all experienced experts, bringing unique skills to the trainings. Together, they ensure every programme is expertly crafted, grounded in real experience, and genuinely impactful.

Owner, Director and Trainer
Jamie Butler
Business owner (Meon Springs) and trainer.
In Jamie's early career he was General Manager of MDS Ltd. A graduate training programme in the Fresh Produce industry. The training and development provided with this scheme was and still is inspirational and transformative to many people and it is this that has inspired Jamie to launch the training and development arm of Meon Springs.
His previous career in training, combined with over 30 years of running a complex diversified agricultural business, full of uncertainty, with long hours, tight margins and plenty of risk makes him well qualified to bring to you our signature training programme - "Achievement Breaks" and to help you meet your unique requirements..

Operations Manager and Gamesmaster
Greg Adlam
Greg is the operational heartbeat of Meon Springs, overseeing the day-to-day running of the many non-farming enterprises in the business.
With a background in gamekeeping and land management, Greg brings a unique blend of practical know-how, organisational skill, and a deep connection to the countryside—making him ideally placed to shape and deliver impactful training and development experiences.

Since joining Meon Springs over a decade ago, Greg has steadily taken on increasing responsibility and now leads the operational delivery of everything from corporate training events to outdoor learning programmes.

Alongside this, Greg has a long-standing passion for gaming, which gives him a deep understanding of immersive experiences and how people learn through engagement and challenge.
This insight plays a key role in helping bring Meon Springs’ training to life—making it not only memorable but genuinely felt by participants.
His grounding in real-world, hands-on work—combined with his calm, can-do approach—makes him an essential part of the Meon Springs team and a key contributor to the immersive, experiential nature of the training offered.

Learning and Development Lead
Stacey Black
Stacey is a learning and development specialist and certified yoga teacher with over 15 years’ experience helping professionals build the confidence, clarity, and presence they need to thrive in the workplace.
With a background in corporate training and coaching, Stacey has designed and delivered high-impact workshops across industries, supporting teams and individuals to unlock their potential, navigate self-doubt, and communicate with impact. Her approach blends evidence-based mindset tools from psychology and adult learning theory with embodied practices from yoga and breathwork—creating learning experiences that shift not just how people think, but how they feel in their bodies.

Programme Mentor and Coach
Andy Hickman
Andy is a Fellow of the Association of Business Mentors and brings over 30 years of leadership and business experience, spanning global corporations and the dynamic world of start-ups and SMEs.
He has led teams of over 1,000 people, advised hundreds of small businesses, and specialises in helping individuals navigate the transition between corporate structures and entrepreneurial ventures.
With an MBA from Henley Business School and an ILM Level 7 in Executive Coaching and Mentoring, Andy combines hands-on leadership experience with a solid academic foundation.

His passion lies in developing leadership potential through experiential learning—making him a strong advocate for programmes like those at Meon Springs.
He began coaching in the sports and outdoors sector, later moving into mentoring roles across tech and business management. Alongside his professional work,
Andy serves as a mentor on the UK Government’s Help to Grow programme, a trustee for a local counselling charity, and an active leader in Scouting and the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award Scheme.
His approach is grounded, values-led, and rooted in the belief that good leadership can make lasting, positive change.

Learning facilitator
Gerry Northwood
Gerry Northwood brings over 30 years of leadership and management experience from a distinguished Royal Navy career, where he commanded teams ranging from 12 to 600 personnel across complex multinational operations.
His work included counter-piracy and counter-terrorism missions in the Indian Ocean, for which he was awarded the OBE. He played a key role in shaping EU counter-piracy strategy and led operations that rescued merchant mariners and significantly curtailed pirate activity.
Gerry’s leadership was honed in dynamic, high-stakes environments requiring adaptability, strategic foresight, and team cohesion.

Since transitioning to the commercial sector, Gerry has served in senior executive roles, including COO and Chairman positions in maritime security and engineering firms. He has a proven track record in organisational turnaround, operational delivery, and strategic advisory.

Pete Taylor
Peter Taylor is an experienced trainer and coach who helps individuals and teams think differently to achieve better results.
With a background spanning over three decades, he now specialises in workplace well-being, emotional resilience, and performance development.
His work combines practical tools with a deep understanding of how people learn and change, supporting both business performance and personal growth.
Peter also brings expertise from the world of golf psychology, helping clients manage pressure and perform with clarity and confidence.
